Top Probiotic Review

So I’m reviewing my favorite Probiotic right now. I prefer this brand because it has more of a variety of Probiotic Cultures than many of the other brands that I’ve seen. According to its label it contains:

“A Proprietary Probiotic with 30 Billion CFU Blend Organisms: L. Acidophilus, L. Rhamnosus, B Longum, B. Breve, L. Casei, B. Coagulans, B. lactis, L. Plantarum, S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, B. Infantis, L. Gasseri, L. Reuteri, L. Fermentum, S. Bouldari.

This is the most impressive blend I have seen as most only contain Lactobacillus. With 15 different organisms in this product it is my favorite.

I have been off both herbal and traditional antibiotics and replenishing my system with good low glycemic foods and restoring my gut health to its optimum levels. After hearing Tim Ferris on Rhonda Patrick’s podcast he said he was able to control his symptoms largely by a ketogenic diet alone. I am also interested in certain exercises including surfing as I’ve heard this had a therapeutic effect on author of West of Jesus Steven Kotler. He surfed and his symptoms went away or into remission.

I myself have had a few days of 90%-100% symptom free living through very careful diet and supplements. Again these are low glycemic leafy greens, avoiding starches and glutens for the most part, avoiding sugar, moderating or avoiding caffeine and alcohol as these exacerbate symptoms (see Burrascano’s guide 2008.) I don’t know the details of Ketogenic diet or Paleo diet but I believe it is roughly the same.

I believe that Probiotics are an essential for every aspect of health.  The human biome and the latest research is finding that our immune system and psychological health are very closely linked to our gut flora.  I had heard about this a few years ago from Rhonda Patrick on Joe Rogan’s podcast about the gut microbiome.  And the latest research into fecal transplants having a 90% success rate (unheard of in medicine) in treating disorders such as C. Diff infection.

My own anecdotal experience confirms this as I notice many of my nagging neurological symptoms seem to fade away with a dose of very good quality probiotics every day.  Autism and spectrum disorders, as well as systemic diseases suspected of being caused by infection:  Alzheimer’s, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lyme Disease, and yes even Autism and Asperger’s.
